For expert pet health advice, our vet consultations are tailored to your pet's needs, and are often made up of a clinical examination, discussions about any new or ongoing health concerns, and treatment plans.

We have separate consult rooms and waiting areas for cats and dogs, helping ensure your visit to our veterinary surgery in Clavering is as calm for both you and your best as possible.

Anaesthetic Fees

Should your dog, cat or rabbit ever require a general anaesthetic for a dental procedure or surgery, all our anaesthetic fees include peri operative fluid therapy to support them and aid their recovery.

We don't charge different rates for cats or dogs, as all our anaesthesia fees are based on your pet's weight.

Sedation Fees

Should your dog, cat or rabbit ever require a sedation for a procedure, we don't charge different rates for cats or dogs or rabbits, as all our sedation fees are based on your pet's weight.

Neutering

Dental Fees

Is your pet's breath a bit smelly? Are they having difficulty eating, chewing, or dribbling?

It could be that your cat or dog would benefit from a dental.

Unlike us humans, this isn't a procedure our pets tolerate well (and to be honest, we think most of us will understand that!) - this is why all our dental procedures listed below include general anaesthetic fees and dental X-Rays.

Laboratory Fees

We have invested in our own on site laboratory, meaning we are able to run many standard lab tests in house, including lump samples, allowing you to get the results and a treatment plan quickly.

All other samples are sent off to one of our trusted specialist veterinary laboratories, and we will call you to discuss the results.

Animal Health Certificate / Export Certification

If you are travelling abroad with your dog, cat, or ferret, you need an animal health certificate. Animal Health Certificates are valid for travel commencing anytime within 10 days from the date they are issued by your vet.

Moving abroad? Then you'll need an Animal Export Health Certificate.

Microchipping

Microchipping helps you and your pet be reunited should they ever run off or go missing.

It's a quick and simple procedure which can make all the difference at a worrying time.

In England, it is a legal requirement that all pet dogs and cats are microchipped (dogs by 8 weeks old, cats by 20 weeks old)

End of Life Care

When the time has come to support your pet on their end of life journey.

As well looking after both you and your pet within the calm and peaceful setting of our veterinary surgery, we are pleased to be able to support our pets and their owners at this emotional time with home visits at request, and if appropriate for your pet's own individual needs.

Please note - home visits may not be possible for urgent cases, and we may ask you to bring your pet to the clinic for more immediate assistance.
